Honoring the 2024 Eagle Scout Class
Join us on March 30th as we honor the outstanding achievements of the 2024 Eagle Scout Class of the Golden Gate Area Council. This remarkable class comprises 500+ young men and women who attained the highest rank in Scouts BSA.
The afternoon’s program will celebrate the achievements of the 2024 Eagle Scout Class, including the presentation of scholarships, recognition of NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award (NOESA) recipients, the showcase of the Council’s Eagle Project of the Year, and the presentation of the prestigious NESA Silverwreath Award. Additionally, each attending 2024 Eagle Scout Class member will receive an exclusive GGAC Eagle Scout lapel pin, commemorating their remarkable accomplishment.
Keynote: Judge Ronald M. Sabraw (Ret.)
Judge Ronald M. Sabraw is a retired Alameda County Superior Court judge, serving 20 years on the bench, including as Presiding Judge. Now a mediator and arbitrator, he remains committed to the legal field while actively engaged in community service. He is a past President of the Fremont Rotary Club and a longtime member of the San Francisco Bay Area Council’s Executive Board, where he also served as Council President. A recipient of the Silver Beaver Award, he takes great pride in his family’s Scouting legacy—his son and grandson are both Eagle Scouts. When not working, he enjoys tending to his olive orchard and fly fishing in Montana with his grandkids.

Guests: $25 Early Bird ($35)
Guest + Eagle Sponsor: $75 Early Bird ($75)
Attire: Uniforms were requested for Scouts and Scouters, but business casual is appropriate for others.

Who is being honored at the event?
2024 Eagle Scout Class, 2025 Eagle Project of the Year, recent NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award, and NESA Silverwreath Recipients.
Who can attend the event?
The honorees and anyone who wants to share their achievements are Scout Leaders, Parents, Grand Parents, Siblings, Teachers, Friends, Fellow Scouts, etc. You do not have to be an Eagle Scout to attend.
How much does the event cost?
• The event is free to honorees.
• Guests attending must purchase a ticket for $35 ($25 before March 3rd).

Honorees should check their email, as it has been included in their communication. If they can not find it, please email [email protected], and they will be happy to provide it to any honoree.

How can I support the event?
Thanks for asking. There are two ways to support the event: When registering, you can choose to sponsor a New Eagle Scout for $50. Additionally, you can visit our New Eagle Scout Sponsorship page, with options ranging from sponsoring a New Eagle Scout to the entire class of Eagle Scouts.
